Stiffening
Paperboard, PE board, EVA foam, buckram — inserted between outer fabric and lining. Weight and rigidity matched to silhouette: rigid for box bags, semi-rigid for satchels, flexible for hobos.
Base Construction
Reinforced bottom panel + metal feet studs (4 or 5 point). Prevents base sag, protects fabric from surface contact. Stiffened base insert options: paperboard, PE board, MDF.
Handle Attachment
Bar-tack, rivet, screw-post, or metal plate anchor — load-tested at sampling. Wrapped handles, tubular handles, flat handles, and metal frame handles all produced in-house.
Closure Systems
Turn lock, magnetic snap, push lock, clasp, zipper, frame hinge, drawstring — matching finish across all hardware. Magnetic strength and turn-lock tension calibrated per spec.
Interior Layout
Center divider, zip pocket (1–2), slip pockets (2–4), card slots, key leash, padded tablet sleeve — configured to spec during sampling. No changes after PPS approval.
Edge Finishing
Edge paint (2–4 coats, hot-edge), raw edge fold, binding tape, piping — method matched to material and price tier. Color-matched or contrast.
